December Time Fillers with a Holiday Theme

Are your students getting "squirrelly"? The closer it gets to Christmas, the more busy they seem. If they are finishing their work and are in need of engagement, try one of these holiday worksheets. They are fun and creative. They could be a HUGE HELP to your subs!!!

This December worksheet for early finishers is a creative activity and time filler. Students will enjoy drawing this reindeer in disguise. A sub would also enjoy having an activity to hand to students who need to occupy their time when their assignment is complete. This worksheet shows sample details, but students are encouraged to invent their own. The only supplies needed are pencils and crayons.

Chinese New Year - Year of the Rooster - Early Finishers Worksheet

This Chinese New Year worksheet for early finishers is a great way to augment a lesson on the holiday.  It is also a great way to engage those stuents who need a way to fill in time after their assignment is complete.  This activity combines art with imagination.  A sample rooster has been lightly drawn in,along with sample details that the student may want to include if they wish.

Winter Time Filler - Disguise a Penguin

This worksheet gives those early finishers a creative outlet after their classwork is done. A penguin shape is lightly drawn in.  Sample features to help in the disguise are in boxes on the sheet.  Students are encouraged to create their own details.
